Learning Labs
Learning Labs are in-person opportunities for students to meet other CVA students and to learn essential skills for the online classroom as well as academic content. Learning Labs are not required, and students will not be penalized for missing them. All Learning Labs are held at the CCSD Support Complex at 4395 Riverwatch Parkway, Evans, GA 30809.

CVA follows CCSD safety and security procedures. All parents/guardians must walk students into the building to sign them in and again to sign them out. Students with a valid driver’s license may enter the building unaccompanied.
When you visit CVA, please push the button outside in the reception area to request entry. All parents and visitors need to check-in with a CVA faculty member before proceeding to other areas of the building.
Transportation arrangements should be between parents and students. Columbia Virtual Academy staff members assume no responsibility for monitoring transportation arrangements. It is between the parent and student to determine permission involving transportation to and from school. No student will be allowed to leave in a ride-share such as Lyft or Uber.
It is also expected that students bring their own lunches if desired. Parents/guardians should review the student’s dress to ensure it meets the CCSD dress code guidelines before the student comes to school. Students violating the dress code will not be allowed to participate in in-house work sessions at CVA. Students are expected to have cell phones put away while attending a work session as they would in the in-person environment.
