Advanced Placement

AP courses help to prepare students for college. Research has shown that students who participate in AP classes have been more successful in post-secondary courses than their peers. Additionally, completion of AP courses have the potential to make students more competitive when applying to post-secondary institutions, and students who are  successful on the AP exam may earn credit at the college they attend. (This is dependent upon the institution.)
